Creating a new brand for a new market
We were asked by DMG to create the branding for the important ‘EGYPS Conference & Exhibition’ in Egypt. As a division of the Daily Mail Group, DMG Events organise trade exhibitions and conferences on a global basis and have enjoyed growing success in the oil and gas sector.
Our Branding approach seeks to conjure up the image of a fluid oil droplet through a graphically refined style that allows the identity to work as a stand alone icon as well as when integrated into structured applications. The gold and black colourways allude to oil’s long association with wealth and scarcity. We also developed sub branding for each discrete area of the exhibition that sat comfortably within the overarching brand as well as designing the principal sales and sponsorship brochures.
